Introduction
Rose and Bees values your privacy and does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties except as necessary for order fulfillment. To deliver your goods, we must share your name and delivery address with third parties such as courier firms, Royal Mail, or logistics companies. Additionally, we provide your phone number and email address to these parties for tracking notifications, feedback, and in case of difficulties locating your delivery address.
The information you provide will be stored on secure servers managed by Shopblocks and Xero for up to 10 years. This helps us efficiently handle warranty claims, reorders, loyalty points, and other customer service needs. Each login or purchase resets this 10-year period. If you use the “Out Of Stock” notification feature, we will retain your email address to notify you when the product is available.
For purchases of live birds or hatching eggs, we are legally required to keep a record of the transaction for at least 12 months. This record includes your name, address, destination address, and details of the birds or eggs purchased. This information is stored securely and may be shared with government agencies such as DEFRA or authorized bodies like APHA upon request.
We are also legally obligated to share sales transaction details with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). This may include your name, address, transaction value, payment method, and purchase details.
Occasionally, we may send you emails about your orders, deliveries, similar products, special offers, account details, or other relevant matters. We do this under the legitimate interest basis.
You can opt into marketing newsletters via our website, and we will send these only if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us, logging into your account, or following the link at the bottom of each newsletter.

We use Google Analytics for site administration and enhancement. You can block cookies through your browser settings (e.g., ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ in Internet Explorer). However, blocking cookies will prevent you from placing orders or using other cookie-dependent features.
Data Usage
Data collected by our site is used to:
- Take and fulfill customer orders, including contacting you about your order.
- Administer and enhance the site and service.
- Disclose information to third parties only for delivery purposes or when legally obligated (e.g., to enforcement agencies such as the police or HMRC).
You may request the deletion of your details from our records at any time, except for information we are required by law to retain. Please write to us at the address provided on our website for such requests.
